UFC 312 takes place in Australia tonight, headlined by a title rematch in the middleweight division. Dricus Du Plessis and Sean Strickland will scrap for a second time as the latter tries to snatch the belt back.

Our UFC 312 odds break down each bout and discuss their betting lines. Du Plessis is the early favorite to retain the middleweight title at our best UFC betting sites. Meanwhile, Zhang Weili is expected to hold onto her title against Tatiana Suarez in the co-main event from the women's strawweight division.

The UFC 312 main card begins at 10 p.m. ET (ESPN+), from Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. Prelims will be streaming free on ESPN2/ESPN+, with early prelims on UFC Fight Pass.

UFC 312 odds - Main Card

Here’s our breakdown of the UFC 312 odds and betting lines for Saturday's full card to help with your UFC picks (odds via our best UFC betting sites).

Dricus Du Plessis (22-2) vs. Sean Strickland (29-6)

A controversial split decision separated the two fighters at UFC 297, but in the end, Du Plessis became the first South African champion in UFC history. Now, he's expected to retain the belt against the former champ. DraftKings gives Du Plessis -192 odds to remain atop the middleweight rankings.

Zhang Weili (25-3) vs. Tatiana Suarez (11-0)

Only one woman has bested Weili over the last decade, and with Rose Namajunas struggling, it's difficult to imagine the champ's dominance coming to an end anytime soon. However, if there is an individual who can give her a run for her money, it's Suarez, the division's unbeaten challenger. The odds reflect that reality.

Justin Tafa (7-4) vs. Tallison Teixeira (1-0)

Get to know the name Tallison Teixeira. The Brazilian heavyweight has appeared in seven professional fights - one with the UFC - and he's never made it out of the opening frame. His seven first-round finishes (six KOs, one submission) explain why he's a -148 favorite over Tafa at our best sports betting apps.

Jimmy Crute (12-4-1) vs. Rodolfo Bellato (12-2)

Bellato's second official UFC bout sees him listed as the favorite (-142) over a struggling Crute (+120). The latter hasn't won a fight in nearly five years with three losses and a draw in his last four outings. Meanwhile, the former LFA champion bursts onto the scene looking for a fifth consecutive win.

Jake Matthews (20-7) vs. Francisco Prado (12-2)

Matthews is the overwhelming favorite as he looks to string together consecutive wins for the first time since 2020. He's alternated his last six results, which is why we feel the -218 juice isn't worth the squeeze, even though Prado (+180) has struggled since making the jump to UFC.

UFC 312 odds - Prelims

Jack Jenkins (13-3) vs. Gabriel Santos (11-2)

Oddsmakers at our best sportsbooks expect Santos (-218) to come out flying after picking up a first UFC win last September. While Jenkins (+180) is more experienced at this level, the versatile Brazilian has the measurables and skillset to trouble the Australian.

Tom Nolan (8-1) vs. Viacheslav Borschchev (8-4-1)

Grapplers have traditionally given Borschchev trouble. Lucky for him, Nolan's not won a single fight via submission in his five-year career. The Russian has the experience edge, and with the Aussie absorbing over six significant strikes per minute, it's easy to see why Slava Claus (-148) is favored.

Wang Cong (6-1) vs. Bruna Brasil (10-4-1)

Is the next great fighter out of China blossoming right in front of our eyes? Wang Cong will look to avenge her first career loss this time out against "The Special One," Brasil. Our best live betting sites are backing Cong in a big way, as she's trading at -395 leading up to the bout.

Colby Thicknesse (0-0) vs. Aleksandre Topuria (0-0)

If any fight on the undercard draws plenty of attention, it's Thicknesse vs. Topuria. The older brother of current featherweight champion Ilia Topuria makes his UFC debut against one of the most exciting up-and-comers in the sport from Down Under. Topuria (-425) is an overwhelming favorite over the 25-year-old (+330).

UFC 312 odds - Early prelims

Rongzhu (25-6) vs. Kody Steele (7-0)

Rongzhu's return to the UFC main stage has gone about as well as the last time. He's now lost three of his last four pay-per-view or UFC Fight Night bouts, and he's a heavy underdog in his upcoming scrap too. Steele (-245) is favored to improve to 8-0 in his career as the American looks to climb the lightweight ladder.

Jonathan Micallef (1-0) vs. Kevin Jousset (10-3)

Oddsmakers are siding with experience over form and home-crowd advantage in this bout. Jousset, who lost his last time out, is favored to bounce back against the Australian newcomer, Micallef. Jousset's -218 odds carry an implied probability of 68.55%, but a $10 winning wager on the underdog would net $18.

Quillan Salkilld (1-0) vs. Anshul Jubli (7-1)

Before Thicknesse vs. Topuria odds were added to the books over the weekend, Salkilld (-410) was the largest favorite on the UFC 312 card. The long-lost "Peaky Blinders" cast member looks to improve to 8-1 (2-0 in the UFC) with a win over Jubli, whereas his opponent looks to avoid losing back-to-back bouts.

Hyunsung Park (9-0) vs. Nyamjargal Tumendemberel (8-1)

Two of the flyweight division's young phenoms headline the early prelims at UFC 312. If it wasn't for Tumendemberel's defeat last time out at UFC Fight Night: Yan vs. Figueiredo, he and Park would be squaring off as a pair of undefeated fighters. Nevertheless, they are not.

Oddsmakers give the edge to Park (-285) to remain perfect and continue to ascend the division's rankings.

How to read UFC betting odds

Understanding UFC betting odds is essential for making informed wagers. Let's break it down with examples:

  • Positive odds (+): Positive odds indicate the potential profit on a $100 wager. For instance, if a fighter has odds of +250, it means that a $100 bet on that fighter would yield a profit of $250 if they win the fight. So, your total payout would be $350 ($250 profit + $100 original stake).
  • Negative odds (-): Negative odds represent the amount you need to wager to win $100 in profit. For example, if a fighter has odds of -150, it means that you would need to bet $150 to win $100 in profit if that fighter wins. Your total payout would be $250 ($100 profit + $150 original stake).

Now, let's consider an actual UFC betting scenario:

  • Fighter A: +200
  • Fighter B: -180

For Fighter A (+200), a $100 bet would result in a $200 profit, making the total payout $300. For Fighter B (-180), you would need to wager $180 to win $100 in profit, resulting in a total payout of $280.

Understanding these odds helps you evaluate the potential payout and implied probability of each fighter winning a UFC fight. Positive odds indicate an underdog, while negative odds signify a favorite.
