Before breaking down the United States' domination, it's worth mentioning the long way Colombia has come in recent years. The FCF (Federacion Colombiana de Futbol) has put a lot of resources into ensuring Las Cafeteras are successful. After the Olympics and World Cup quarterfinals appearances in recent years, that success is beginning to pay off.
However, to beat the best, you have to be the best - and Colombia isn't on that level right now.
The United States has gone on an impressive unbeaten run to start Emma Hayes' reign on the touchline, one that dates back to last June and includes the country's first gold medal in 12 years. Hayes has turned her new side into a well-oiled machine that resembles teams of old, which is impressive during a transitional period in the federation's history.
The manager will look to lean on her core veterans - such as Lynn Biyendolo (formerly Williams), Crystal Dunn, Lindsey Heaps (formerly Horan), and Emily Sonnett - with many of the team's top attackers not available for this tournament. Even without the likes of Trinity Rodman, Mal Swanson, and Sophia Wilson, the hosts have enough talent to win comfortably.

Hayes' aggressive attacking style means her side will be on the front foot from the jump. The former Chelsea women's manager isn't one to take her foot off the gas, either, which is why we're surprised this play is listed at plus-money.
