Stanley Cup Odds & Round 1 Matchups: NHL Playoffs First Round Injury Update for Tuesday, April 22

Wednesday features three games in the NHL playoffs, with the Montreal Canadiens-Washington Capitals and Edmonton Oilers-Los Angeles Kings series entering Game 2 and the Dallas Stars-Colorado Avalanche series shifting to the Mile High City for Game 3.

  • Miro Heiskanen hasn't played since Jan. 28 in Vegas. Signs point to him featuring later in the series. He's traveling with the team to Colorado.

Avalanche ⛰ī¸ 

  • Gabriel Landeskog returned from his conditioning stint with the AHL's Colorado Eagles. He is expected to play in Game 1, which would be his first NHL game since the Avs won the Cup in 2022. He took part in the warm up before Game 2.
    • Game 3 status: Questionable
  • Ross Colton injured sustained an upper-body injury and left Game 1. His status is unknown for Game 3
    • Game 3 status: Doubtful
