Let the off-ice trash talk cease and the on-ice action, and if ChatGPT's AI 4 Nations Face-Off final predictions come to fruition, fisticuffs commence.

In a few hours, at 8 p.m. ET, Canada and the USA will battle for the glory in the 4 Nations Face-Off final at TD Garden in Boston (ESPN). Our Canada vs. USA prediction expects Jon Cooper's team to exact revenge, coming up with the goods when it matters most.

Who is favored to win Canada vs. USA in 4 Nations Face-Off final?

The Americans opened as the favorites and will enter tonight's 4 Nations Face-Off final just in front of Canada by the 4 Nations Face-Off odds.

It was an absolute dead heat, a pick'em affair at our best sportsbooks about 14 hours before the opening puck drop. However, the line moved slightly in favor of Team USA in the last few hours, demonstrating the public's belief in Mike Sullivan's squad.

As you can see, 57% of the money and 52% of the bets are backing the USA at BetMGM. Canada was also the slight underdog when we made our early 4 Nations Face-Off predictions

Who will win 4 Nations Face-Off final?

Every NHL franchise with participating players in the final will hold their collective breath as Canada and the USA take one last hard, sustained charge at each other.

While the USA won the round-robin contest, I can't see Canada going down in consecutive games against their bitter rivals. Also, Canada's top players found some momentum while the Americans' best have been pushed slightly off course in the lead-up to the final, which I'll dive into more below.

The USA has a discernible advantage in goal, but Jordan Binnington has unforgettable winning memories in Boston. Those reasons, among others, are why I predict Canada will win the 4 Nations Face-Off final.

🏒 Canada vs. USA score prediction: Canada 3, USA 2

It's time to drop the puck, or should I say gloves, on one of the most anticipated hockey contests in a generation. The one discernible USA advantage resides between the pipes, with runaway Vezina Trophy odds favorite Connor Hellebuyck representing the world's best. He's also the 4 Nations Face-Off MVP odds favorite entering the final.

Hellebuyck's record with the USA is about as indomitable as his presence in the cage. So, he must be due for a loss, right?

This might be grasping at straws, a pre-requisite when trying to find Hellebuyck weaknesses, but Hellebuyck is a subpar 2-3-1 in Boston, posting a 2.49 goals-against average (GAA) and a .921 save percentage. In addition, Connor McDavid has 56 points (12 goals, 44 assists) in 33 games against the Hellebuyck-led Jets. McDavid also has nine assists in his last seven games against the Jets netminder.

Make no mistake: For Canada to win, Jordan Binnington cannot allow a goal like he did in the round-robin game. While he's susceptible to those harebrained moments, Binnington enjoyed the best patch of his career in Boston, winning three of four games there en route to the 2019 Stanley Cup championship. He was 3-1, with a .947 save percentage and a 1.75 GAA.

Canada is likely looking at another key advantage, Cale Makar. The Norris Trophy odds favorite didn't play against the Americans in the round-robin due to an undisclosed illness.

Combine that with the fact that one of Team USA's primary shutdown defensemen, Charlie McAvoy, will not play due to a shoulder injury. He was the main reason McDavid — aside from his moment of magic — was relatively quiet in the previous meeting.

It has been confirmed that Quinn Hughes will not save the day for the USA. The 4 Nations Face-Off rules state that the U.S. must have one more unavailable defenseman before he can play. So, the Makar advantage is well and truly in play.

Lastly, McDavid and Nathan MacKinnon have found their groove while the Tkachuk brothers and Auston Matthews are banged up. As if there were any doubt, all three will play in the final. However, there's more than a puncher's chance that at least one of them won't be playing at full bore.

Final score prediction: Team Canada 3, Team USA 2
