The Kansas City Chiefs look to make it three straight Super Bowl titles when they battle the Philadelphia Eagles today. Kansas City is a 1-point favorite ahead of kickoff for Super Bowl 2025 at Caesars Superdome (6:30 p.m. ET, FOX).

The Kansas City Chiefs aim to make history as the first team to win three consecutive championships in the Super Bowl era. The Philadelphia Eagles seek revenge for their Super Bowl loss to Patrick Mahomes and Co. two seasons ago.

Kansas City and Philadelphia combined for 73 points last time they met in the Big Game, the third-most in Super Bowl history. But as part of our Super Bowl predictions, my Chiefs vs. Eagles best bets expect a different result and a lower-scoring game in the rematch.

Best Chiefs vs. Eagles spread prediction

Eagles +1.5 (-115) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

This Eagles team is different from the one the Chiefs beat in the Super Bowl two years ago.

Philadelphia’s offense has scored 35 points per game this postseason, which would be its highest-scoring playoff average in franchise history. The Eagles have also led for 85.8% of game time in this postseason, the most by any team in 21 years.

Philadelphia also ranks first in total defense and second in points per game allowed. But the most significant difference in this year’s squad is Saquon Barkley, who will likely finish the game with the single-season all-time rushing record. Barkley is also featured in our best Super Bowl rushing props

Several of our top sports betting sites have lowered to +1 as of Wednesday morning, but DraftKings is one of the lone sites still offering a spread of +1.5.

Best Chiefs vs. Eagles Over/Under prediction

Under 49 (-110) ⭐⭐⭐

In 2022, Kansas City ranked first in points per game, first in yards per game, first in yards per attempt, and second in red zone touchdown percentage. However, this year, those averages dropped to 15th in scoring, 16th in yards per game, 22nd in yards per attempt, and the Chiefs were tied for 22nd in red zone touchdown percentage.

Meanwhile, the Eagles' defense ranks first in Efficiency, yards per play, passing yards per game, and first downs allowed per game.

They also have four different players with seven-plus pass rush wins this postseason, so they should be able to get pressure on Mahomes early and often. In addition, the second-half Under has cashed in 73% of Chiefs’ games over the last two seasons.

Caesars is the only top sports betting app offering the Under of 49 at standard -110 juice, as most competitors are a half-point lower with a total of 48.5.

A.J. Brown longest reception Over 24.5 yards (-114) ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Brown is likely to be shadowed by Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie, one of the best cover cornerbacks in the game. So, while I am not as high on Brown’s receptions (O/U 5.5) or yardage totals (O/U 71.5), I believe he will break off one long catch.

The Chiefs play man coverage at the tenth-highest rate in the league (30.1%), and Brown was targeted on 38.2% of his routes against man coverage this season. Among all qualified receivers, he has the most yards per route run (4.04) against man coverage this season.

Brown has only gone over this projected total once in the last four games, but this is a solid contrarian play at a good number and price, as DraftKings is slightly higher with an O/U of 25.5 yards.

Dallas Goedert anytime touchdown (+310) ⭐⭐

Jalen Hurts has more rushing touchdowns (nine) than passing touchdowns (eight) in eight career playoff games. However, this makes for a solid contrarian play to Philadelphia’s powerful rushing offense given how much Goedert has been utilized in the passing game.

In the postseason, Goedert has seen a 29% team target share and has been targeted on nearly one out of every four of his routes. He faces a Chiefs defense that allowed the seventh-most targets to tight ends in the regular season and the most yards per target.

The +310 odds offered at FanDuel are a better value than the +290 found at DraftKings. A $10 winning wager at that price would net $31 in profits. Goedert is also profiled in our best receiving props for Super Bowl 2025
