Los Angeles allows 206.6 passing yards per game, the 12th-best tally in the NFL this season. Only three quarterbacks have managed more than 237 yards against the Chargers.
While these numbers look impressive, Los Angeles has largely avoided the league’s top passers. Those the Chargers did face - Joe Burrow and Patrick Mahomes - were able to pad their stats against this unit and clear this passing yardage total.
Jackson’s been sensational with his arm this season. The Ravens’ superstar signal-caller entered the week ranked second in the league in passing yards (2,876) and touchdowns (25), and he's averaging 261 passing yards while exceeding this total in eight of 11 outings.

While Los Angeles’ defense doesn’t allow many passing yards, it does give up an average number of chunk plays. The Chargers have allowed 30 plays of 20-plus passing yards, which is tied for 15th in the league. They’ve also surrendered four plays of at least 40 yards through 10 games.
Meanwhile, Baltimore’s offense has the fourth-most completions of 20 yards and 40 yards - the only team to rank that highly in both statistics. Jackson’s longest completions have gone for more than 36 yards in eight games this year, including each of the last three outings.
