Los Angeles is making drastic changes this offseason. The Chargers' facelift began earlier this week when they released Joey Bosa, the longest-tenured player on their roster. That move saves the team more than $25 million in cap space as it moves on from an injury-plagued player in recent years.

Our Joey Bosa next team odds look at the likeliest landing spots for the veteran edge rusher. The Bosa name carries a lot of weight around the NFL, so this market is sure to be competitive as free agency looms.

Will Bosa return to Los Angeles on a more team-friendly deal? Could he team up with his younger brother? Or will he begin a new chapter of his career elsewhere? Here are the latest odds, analysis, and predictions for where Bosa lands.

Premier edge rushers are a luxury in the NFL, and one of the best just hit the open market. While the elder Bosa brother has been struggling to stay healthy after playing just 28 games in the last three years, he's still an effective disruptor.

Bosa has already taken a pay cut once to remain with Los Angeles. The Chargers cut bait to save an important sum, but it doesn't seem the return door is fully shut, at least not as far as our best sports betting sites are concerned.

Los Angeles is the second-favorite on the oddsboard. That comes after Bosa has expressed his desire to remain with the organization for life on multiple occasions. While goodbyes have been sent on social media, it's wise to never say never in these situations.

Another popular potential avenue is the San Francisco 49ers, where Bosa could team up with his younger brother. The 49ers are the betting favorites to add the older brother and complete the Bosa puzzle. A short-term signing would be possible, as Over The Cap lists San Francisco at $34 million under the salary cap.

His landing spot may be unknown currently, but the one certainty is that Bosa's market will be a busy one.

🔮 Where will Joey Bosa play next season?

The 49ers (+220) are the leaders in the clubhouse for Bosa's signature. Pairing the Bosa brothers up on the same team would be a sensational story. But the move actually wouldn't make much sense for San Francisco.

Sure, Bosa would help Robert Saleh's defense improve upon its 18th-rated team sack percentage (6.69%), but there are more significant needs on the roster. A recent Niners Nation poll confirms that belief, which is especially true following the Deebo Samuel trade.

The two teams I'm looking at instead are the Lions (+800) and Eagles (+1200).

Both NFC franchises have been clear about being in the market for edge rushers this offseason. Detroit and Philadelphia have come up frequently in Myles Garrett next team odds conversations, and one of the two teams will be forced to look elsewhere.

Neither Brad Holmes nor Howie Roseman are strangers to significant moves. Both franchises hold the capital to bring in Bosa while also not surrendering picks or players in a trade, as the GMs would need to for Trey Hendrickson or Garrett.

The Lions and Eagles therefore present the best value on the market given their aggressive acquisition styles. Bosa could be the piece to push a contending team over the edge in a heavily contested race atop the NFC, which is why I believe he ends up in Detroit.

Prediction: Lions (+800)
