Steelers first touchdown scorer prediction: Pat Freiermuth, TE ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Believe it or not, Freiermuth leads the Steelers with three touchdown catches this season. He's also second on the team in targets (36) and receptions (31).
The gritty tight end broke a three-game scoring drought two weeks ago against the Washington Commanders. He found the end zone in back-to-back games before that, too.
Freiermuth has generated the most red-zone targets (seven) of the Pittsburgh tight ends despite sharing the field more frequently with second-year teammate Darnell Washington.
The Steelers face a Cleveland defense that's allowing the third-most passing touchdowns per game (1.8) at home this season. The Browns have permitted an opposing tight end to cross the goal line in two of their last three games.
A fair amount of long shots have scored the first touchdown in a game this season, so I’m looking for Freiermuth to turn your $10 bet into a $190 profit for one of your NFL Week 12 predictions.

Chubb regained control of the Cleveland backfield four weeks ago upon his return from injury, and he's been given 23% of the Browns’ total carries for the season in just four games.
The long-tenured Cleveland running back has reached the end zone once since his season debut. However, he's facing a Steelers defense that's given up the second-most rushing touchdowns per game (1.7) over their last three contests. A running back has crossed the goal line against Pittsburgh in each of their last seven outings as well.
My confidence in this is lower due to a lack of faith in Cleveland's offense scoring first, though I still believe in Chubb.
The Browns have only put the first touchdown on the board three times this year. They're tied with the Dallas Cowboys for the second-fewest total touchdowns this season.
