Ravens first touchdown scorer prediction: Nelson Agholor, WR ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +5000 via FanDuel | Implied probability: 1.96%

Agholor has caught two touchdown passes this season. Both have come over the last four weeks. One of them counted as the first touchdown of the game while the other was the first six-point play for his team.

Baltimore running back Derrick Henry is the heavy favorite (+390) to find the end zone first in this contest, and we backed him to score his team's first TD with our Derrick Henry picks.

However, the Chargers' defense has allowed only one rushing touchdown to a running back all season. The stingy defense has also allowed just one touchdown reception to the running back position as well. 

Fellow Ravens wideout Zay Flowers (+1100) was a consideration here as he leads the team with four touchdown catches. The only issue is that Flowers hasn’t scored first in the game, or for his team since Week 2.

Chargers first touchdown scorer prediction: Quentin Johnston, WR ⭐⭐⭐

Best odds: +1700 via Caesars | Implied probability: 5.56%

Johnston leads all Los Angeles pass-catchers with six touchdown receptions this season. He’s found the end zone in five of eight games this year including each of his last three.

The young wideout has been the first player to cross the goal line in two games this year, leading the team in that category.

Baltimore is tied for second in the league, allowing an average of two touchdowns per game this season. The Ravens' defense has allowed 12 touchdowns to opposing wide receivers in their last seven games. That's also why we expect a big game from the Chargers quarterback with our Justin Herbert picks.
