It may surprise some to see all 32 NFL teams given odds to land Rodgers, but it's unclear what capacity the veteran quarterback will want to return in next season. It's assumed he'll desire to remain a starter, and Rodgers will likely get that opportunity given the quarterback situations toward the bottom of the league's standings. It's important to note that we have yet to hear Rodgers commit to playing football again during the 2025/26 season. While a decision is expected as early as this week, there has been no official confirmation, even though top sources like Glazer believe he's not done.
The Minnesota Vikings (+400) have been floated around as a potential destination, mostly as a joke on social media. Fans have been kidding that Rodgers could complete the Brett Favre career arc with that move. But is the shift as unlikely as it seems?

Whether Rodgers can be that change remains to be seen. However, signing one of the most successful quarterbacks in league history after he's cut from his previous club seems like a no-brainer. The Steelers are nothing if not aggressive when trying to improve their roster.
It's a safe pick, but it seems like the right one based on what we know now.

Rodgers was set to receive a $2.5-million base salary and a $35-million signing bonus for 2025 under his contract with the Jets. That was after he signed a three-year, $112.5-million deal with the Jets in 2023. But he's now officially out in the Meadowlands.
There's no telling how much a quarterback who turns 42 next season will command on the open market. However, the salaries given to Rodgers and Derek Carr (four years and $150 million with the New Orleans Saints) sat in the middle of starting quarterbacks last season.
