As a result, it’s not a stretch to suggest that Gonzaga will be eager to right some wrongs in Tuesday’s matchup. Still, with Gonzaga normally a beneficiary of its quick tempo, I have difficulty believing the Zags would employ that style as effectively after San Francisco pushed the Bulldogs nearly the full 40 minutes in a game that went deep into the night on Monday.
Saint Mary’s won the respective matchups by 7 and 4 points. The Gaels’ four losses on the year came by a combined 14 points. That’s the type of team with which I’m content to take the +3.5.
