Final Four Odds 2025: Auburn, Duke Favorites; Houston, Florida, Alabama Trail

Both Auburn and Duke are already minus-money by the Final Four odds, with the Tigers and Blue Devils being by far the two best teams in the country in a season that's been defined by parity.
Even with both teams suffering losses two weeks ago, they've remained the obvious favorites by the March Madness odds. Both have bounced back in a ferocious manner, with Houston, Florida, and Alabama in the next tier.
Final Four odds 2025
Final Four odds from our March Madness betting sites.
- Auburn: The Tigers just beat Alabama and have been the most consistent team in the country thanks to Johni Broome, and Bracket Matrix projects the Tigers to earn the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament
- Duke: Led by Wooden Award odds favorite Cooper Flagg, the Blue Devils, positioned for a one-seed, are easily the best team in the ACC in a down year for the conference
- Houston: After an inconsistent start to the season, Houston has again solidified itself as the best team in the Big 12; however, it's not projected to earn a No. 1 seed
- Florida: Thanks to Alabama losing to Auburn, and the Gators beating the Tigers two weeks ago, Florida is the No. 2 team in the latest AP Top 25 Poll
- Alabama: The loss to the Tigers lengthened Alabama's Final Four odds from +150 to +200, and the Crimson Tide still have to close the season by playing six straight ranked opponents

Auburn Final Four odds (-150)

If Flagg doesn't win the Wooden, it will be Broome, who has looked as good as ever since returning from injury. Auburn beat Alabama decisively already and plays them again before the season ends, but the Tigers have been the best team in the best conference and have the best lineup.
Beating Alabama again and having a good showing in the SEC Tournament will be needed for Auburn to earn the No. 1 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament, but regardless, this is a roster talented enough to reach the Final Four. If they do, a $10 bet pays a $6.67 profit.

Duke Final Four odds (-110)
Only two teams have beaten Auburn this season, and Duke was one of them. With Flagg living up to the NBA draft odds buzz as a two-way nightmare, the Blue Devils look capable of competing with any team in the country and have a serious chance to win out and take home the ACC Tournament title with how bad the conference is this year.
While Flagg is carrying the load, this team has more than just him with fellow freshman studs Kon Knueppel and Khaman Maluach and veterans Tyrese Proctor and Sion James. Like Auburn, I have a tough time seeing Duke not push to the Final Four with how much talent they have and how much better they've been than almost every other program this season.
Best odds: -110 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 52.38%
Houston Final Four odds (+190)
The Cougars once again have a suffocating defense capable of taking the air out of opposing offenses. But a slow start that included losses to Auburn and Alabama has me wondering what the Cougars ceiling can be with this style, we saw them lose in the Sweet 16 last year as a No. 1 seed with their defense-first mentality.
While I like the combo of guard L.J. Cryer and forward J'Wan Roberts as a one-two punch, Houston lacks a player capable of taking over on offense in crunch time. With a tough stretch to close the season, I'm not sure Houston will even earn a one-seed.
Best odds: +190 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 34.48%
Alabama Final Four odds (+200)

If Auburn and Duke are the clear top two teams in the country, Alabama's got my vote for the third-best program, even after losing to the Tigers.
This team made the Final Four last year relying on its explosive offense and non-existent defense, and with All-American guard Mark Sears and big man Grant Nelson, it should be able to make some serious noise again.
While Nate Oats' team had been on fire prior to the Auburn loss, I still have concerns about their style of play when their shots aren't dropping - like in the loss to Ole Miss. However, with the Crimson Tide playing Auburn again, Florida, and Tennessee down the stretch, I'd wait to back them.
Best odds: +200 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 33.33%
My Final Four contender to watch
St. John's Final Four odds (+850)

If you love defensive basketball, instead of backing Houston at +210, why not look at St. John's and what Rick Pitino is doing in the Big East? Especially with a $10 winning bet paying a $85 profit. The Red Storm have completely turned it around in Pitino's second season as bench boss, thanks to the play of RJ Luis, Kadary Richmond, and Zuby Ejiofor.
That trio has St. John's poised to potentially earn a top three-seed, and I think they're a dark horse for a one-seed if the SEC cannibalizes itself and the Red Storm wins out. And unlike Houston, Pitino has a scorer capable of putting the team on his back when needed in Luis.
Best odds: +850 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 10.53%
