With Loyola Chicago trading as a 2.5-point betting favorite per the NIT odds, we’re fading the opposition's red-hot guard in our Chattanooga vs. Loyola Chicago player props, parlay, and odds.

🔥 Trey Bonham Under 16.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sometimes you’ll find a betting line that makes no sense. That’s what we’ve got with this line for Bonham, whose points prop is trading at a lofty 16.5 points – well above his season average.

The senior guard has exploded to average 23 points per game in the NIT, but that success has stemmed from impeccable shooting. He is converting 53.3% of his looks from the floor in the NIT while shooting 47.4% from beyond the arc. Yet, for the full season, Bonham is converting just 45.1% of his looks from the floor. When we look beyond the arc, he converts only 34.6% of his looks.

While it’s possible that some teams don’t take the NIT seriously enough to play tough defense, that hasn’t been a problem for Loyola Chicago. Since the tournament began, Loyola Chicago has held opposing teams to 37.8% from inside the arc and 35.7% from outside of it.

Bet on Bonham to regress to the mean.

🔥 Des Watson Over 12.5 points ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just as we’re fading an overperformer for Chattanooga, we’re backing an underperformer for Loyola Chicago. Watson is averaging 13 points per game this season – and even 14.3 per game in the NIT – but his last two outings have been forgettable. The senior totaled 19 points over two games.

We only need Watson to notch 13 points, which he still managed to do in two of those games. He did so despite his 3-point percentage at the NIT (21.4%) cratering from his season average (33.9%).

Against a shaky Chattanooga defense, look for the Rambers' guard to put together at least an average game.

📊 Best odds: +100 via FanDuel ($10 to win $10)

🔥 Trey Bonham Under 6.5 Rebounds ⭐⭐⭐

With FanDuel taking action on a whopping five players in this game, it’s tricky not to double-dip at least once, and that can actually have value when putting together a same-game parlay. We’re getting action on Bonham’s under on the rebounding markets as well in hopes a poor shooting performance corresponds to less playing time.

Further, Bonham is averaging only 4.5 rebounds per game on the year–and 3.7 through his five-year career–but eight per game in the NIT. Since February 1, Loyola Chicago ranks as a top-90 team by defensive rebound rate, while Chattanooga is outside the top-250 in both offensive and defensive rebound rate.

It would be nice to get an over for a single Loyola Chicago player on the rebound markets, but, unfortunately for us, no such line is open.
