The Arkansas Razorbacks look to secure a third straight outright upset when they host the Alabama Crimson Tide at Bud Walton Arena on Saturday. Tipoff from Fayetteville, Ark., is set for 8 p.m. ET (ESPN).
The Crimson Tide have some of the shortest March Madness odds and are projected to be a No. 1 seed in next month’s NCAA Tournament. That is why seeing them as six-point road favorites is not surprising, especially after winning five straight games.

Alabama to cover the spread: -6 ⭐⭐
Alabama has been bludgeoning opponents in league play while getting off to an 8-1 start in what could be the deepest and most impressive conference of all time. The Crimson Tide have won five of their eight SEC games by 16-plus points and have had a week off to revel in their five-game winning streak.
That winning streak started with a 102-97 road win at Kentucky, which was the Wildcats’ third-worst single-game defensive efficiency score since the start of the 1996-97 season, per KenPom.
Meanwhile, Arkansas is coming off a game where just six players played more than nine minutes on Wednesday night. The Razorbacks’ depth will be tested against the fastest tempo in the country. Arkansas has won back-to-back games as underdogs, but it is 0-4 ATS when at a rest disadvantage.
While this game may be close early, I expect Alabama to wear Arkansas down and pull away late, so I am taking advantage of the best number and price at Caesars.

Grant Nelson Over 12.5 points ⭐⭐⭐
Alabama’s five-game winning streak coincided with a late-season resurgence from Nelson. The power forward went into that road game against Kentucky (which started the winning streak) scoring single digits in three consecutive games and five of the previous eight.
But he's averaged 15.6 points per game during the winning streak, scoring in double figures in each contest, including a season-high 25 points against the Wildcats.
While Arkansas has the SEC’s best interior defense, allowing 45% from inside the arc in league play, Alabama’s plethora of 3-point shooters will spread the Razorback's defense out in ways other opponents cannot.
Even still, Nelson is versatile enough to make perimeter shots (at least one made 3-pointer in three consecutive games), and he has attempted seven-plus free throws in three of the last six games.
