Pelicans vs. Thunder NBA Player Prop Bets & Odds Tonight
On Monday, we got our first look at the Oklahoma City Thunder (9-2) without Chet Holmgren, who is out multiple months with a hip injury. The Thunder started five wings and their league-leading defense coughed up a season-high 128 points to the Los Angeles Clippers in a narrow win. How will they respond on Wednesday against the New Orleans Pelicans?
Well, our Pelicans vs. Thunder player prop bets believe the Thunder will still be able to limit one of New Orleans' stars when these teams square off at 7:40 p.m. ET (ESPN) from Paycom Center.
The Pelicans (3-8) visit Oklahoma City in a rematch of last year’s first-round playoff series with a laundry list of injuries.
Six key players have been ruled out for New Orleans, including Zion Williamson, CJ McCollum, Dejounte Murray, and Herb Jones. The Pelicans have lost eight of their last nine games and are 14-point underdogs on Wednesday.

Best Pelicans vs. Thunder prop predictions
Jalen Williams prop bet: Over 32.5 points + rebounds + assists ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -110 via DraftKings | Implied probability: 52.38%
In his first career game without Holmgren, Williams stepped up with 28 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. We have a limited sample size but can assume that the Thunder’s rising star will step up his output across the board with OKC missing a huge piece.
Williams has averaged 22.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, and five assists over his last five regular-season games against New Orleans and averaged 33.6 combined points, rebounds, and assists in a sweep of the Pelicans in last year's playoffs.
With Herb Jones and Jose Alvarado out, the Pelicans' defense is much more vulnerable. The Pelicans allow the fifth-most points per game (26.02) to power forwards and are allowing the fourth-most assists per game (28.5) overall this season.
Brandon Boston Jr. prop bet: Over 5.5 rebounds ⭐⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: +105 via BetMGM | Implied probability: 48.78%
With the Pelicans extremely short-handed, they’ve given Boston an extended look, and he tied Brandon Ingram with a season-high 35 minutes in their last game.
Boston totaled seven points and seven rebounds with a career-high 10 assists. He's a 6-foot-7 shooting guard with a lengthy wingspan, and OKC allows the most rebounds per game (7.64) to that position this season.
He’s averaging 6.5 rebounds on the second-most rebound chances (11.5) per game over his last two outings while leading the Pelicans in minutes per game (36.8). Alvarado was second in minutes per game and now he’s out of the lineup, so Boston could see close to 40 minutes even if this is a blowout.
Brandon Ingram prop bet: Under 30.5 points + assists ⭐⭐⭐
Best odds: -120 via bet365 | Implied probability: 54.55%
The Thunder made life very tough for Ingram in the playoffs last season, and their new-look starting lineup isn’t necessarily a better matchup for the wing.
Ingram was held to 14.3 points and 3.3 assists over 36.4 minutes per game in four playoff outings against Luguentz Dort and Co., shooting just 34.5% from the floor with a 91.7 offensive rating. Ingram has averaged more points per game in five appearances without Williamson this season, but his offensive rating has dipped from 111.3 to 102.4 in that role and he’s logged fewer minutes per game (31.2) with some blowout losses mixed into those results.
The Thunder defense slipped in their last game, but it still ranks first in the NBA in opponent’s assist to turnover ratio (1.317) and overall field-goal percentage (42.6%) this season.
