Grammys Betting Predictions, Odds 2025: Best Picks & Nominees for Sunday's Awards

Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Taylor Swift, and Sabrina Carpenter will look to come away big winners at this year’s Grammy Awards.
We make the best Grammys betting predictions in four major categories, ahead of the event on Sunday, Feb. 2 at 8 p.m. ET. Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan are favored by the Grammys odds in the major categories, but Beyonce, Kendrick Lamar, and Taylor Swift have a chance to pull upsets.
Will Beyonce finally win her first Album of the Year award? Will Taylor Swift be awarded for the biggest album of the year? And who will win Best New Artist? I predict all this and more for Sunday’s event at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

Album of the Year pick: Cowboy Carter by Beyonce⭐⭐⭐⭐
Here are the nominees for Album of the Year and their betting odds:
- Hit Me Hard and Soft by Billie Eilish: +105
- Cowboy Carter by Beyonce: +160
- Brat by Charli XCX: +700
- The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess by Chappell Roan: +900
- The Tortured Poets Department by Taylor Swift: +1200
- Short n' Sweet by Sabrina Carpenter: +2600
- Djesse Vol.4 by Jacob Collier: +3700
- New Blue Sun by Andre 300: +3700
Hit Me Hard and Soft has remained the favorite in this category since the odds came out over a month ago. However, all other odds have shifted around. Originally, Swift had the second-shortest odds for The Tortured Poets Department, but now the album is being given almost no chance of winning. In fact, this has surprisingly turned into a two-horse race, with Beyonce making a late surge with her album Cowboy Carter.
Beyonce has the most Grammys of any artist in history, but she’s still never won Album of the Year. It seems that this storyline is starting to resonate with voters, as her odds have shortened considerably. It seems a toss-up between Cowboy Carter and Hit Me Hard and Soft.
When you look at the other categories, there aren’t many opportunities for voters to reward Beyonce. So, while Eilish is favored here, I’ll go with Beyonce to take home the trophy for a better price.
Record of the Year pick: "Not Like Us" by Kendrick Lamar
Here are the nominees for Record of the Year and their betting odds:
- “Espresso” by Sabrina Carpenter: -370
- “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar: +500
- “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish: +650
- “Now and Then” by The Beatles: +850
- “Texas Hold ‘Em” by Beyonce: +1900
- “Good Luck, Babe!” by Chappell Roan: +2200
- “Fortnight” by Taylor Swift feat. Post Malone: +2400
- “360” by Charli XCX: +2900
Other than Best Pop Solo, this is the spot where Carpenter has the best chance to win. However, I don’t love the price of -370, as there are plenty of legitimate contenders in this category. While I wouldn’t be surprised to see “Birds of a Feather” win here, and potentially pull off a Song of the Year and Record of the Year sweep, I have more faith in “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar.
The diss track has been in the news recently after Drake filed a lawsuit against Universal Music Group for allowing the song to be released. However, if that lawsuit was going to deter any voters - which was unlikely - it wouldn’t have mattered because the final round of voting had already taken place.
“Not Like Us” was the most talked-about song of the year, and I think voters are going to remember that more than our best sports betting sites expect them to.
Song of the Year pick: “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Here are the nominees for Song of the Year and their betting odds:
- “Birds of a Feather” by Billie Eilish: -180
- “Not Like Us” by Kendrick Lamar: +480
- “Good Luck, Babe!” by Chappell Roan: +550
- “Die with a Smile” by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars: +750
- “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” by Shaboozey: +850
- “Texas Hold ‘Em” by Beyonce: +1300
- “Fortnight” by Taylor Swift feat. Post Malone: +1400
- “Please Please Please” by Sabrina Carpenter: +1900
I’ve taken two underdogs, but now it’s time to take a favorite. I could make almost the exact same argument for “Not Like Us” as I did in the Record of the Year section, but rap songs very rarely win these awards. To this point, “This Is America” by Childish Gambino is the only rap song to win Song of the Year and Record of the Year.
To me, this is a contest between “Birds of a Feather” and “Good Luck, Babe!” Because Roan is brand new, we don’t know how much Grammy voters are going to support her. However, we do know that Eilish is a Grammy Awards darling, as she’s already racked up nine awards in her career.
I’ll back history for better than -200 and take Eilish to walk away with this award.
Best New Artist pick: Sabrina Carpenter ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Here are the nominees for Best New Artist and their betting odds:
- Chappell Roan: -430
- Sabrina Carpenter: +250
- Shaboozey: +1300
- Raye: +1600
- Teddy Swims: +3100
- Benson Boone: +3100
- Doechii: +3700
- Khruangbin: +4800
This may be Roan’s award to win, but I refuse to take her at this price. Carpenter is simply too much of a force to be reckoned with, and I don’t think anyone would be as shocked by a Carpenter win as the odds suggest.
Not only is Carpenter a serious threat to win this award, but she’s also favored to win Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo for “Espresso.” Maybe voters will look at Carpenter’s success and chalk it up to one good song rather than a complete album, but “Please Please Please” is up for Song of the Year.
Carpenter ended up with four singles from Short n' Sweet, which is only half of the eight that Roan earned for her album. But while Roan has a lot working in her favor, this price simply doesn’t provide enough value.
