I bet on him to steal a base on Tuesday, but I'm riding with the public for Game 2. He hit one in the exhibition game against the Yomiuri Giants, but it just wouldn't feel right if Ohtani left this Tokyo series without an MLB homer.

Based on the projections, Roki Sasaki's strikeout Over is actually a much higher EV play than this one, but I'm also predicting that the rookie pitcher struggles in his MLB debut. Therefore, I'm backing Justin Steele to go Over his strikeout total instead.
Steele is projected to rack up 5.21 punchouts on Wednesday morning, and of the four starters in this series, he's the one who I think will have the most freedom to go deeper into a ballgame. Fellow Cubs starter Shota Imanaga was pulled after only 69 pitches in Game 1, and Yoshinobu Yamamoto wasn't pushed much further by the Dodgers, getting the hook on 72 pitches.
If Steele is allowed to pitch into the sixth of this one, he should be able to rack up at least five Ks with ease.
