The Super Bowl is in the rearview, which means we are rapidly approaching baseball season.

With the offseason nearing its end, teams are relatively complete, allowing us to properly examine the latest MLB win totals odds.

As you'd expect, the World Series odds-favorite Los Angeles Dodgers have the highest projected win total after winning a MLB-best 98 games last year and adding to their star-studded roster during the offseason.

Let's dive into the MLB odds and see which teams are projected for a big regular season.

2025 MLB win total betting odds

All of our best MLB betting sites now offer this market, so though we've highlighted the totals at only FanDuel, make sure you're shopping around for the best number.

It's important to note the differences between how certain sportsbooks list their win totals odds.

Some choose to juice the Over and Under to different degrees, depending on which side is deemed to be the favorite. However, multiple sportsbooks offer both sides at -110 for the majority of teams, which makes pricing out your preferred side much easier.

For its part, Caesars lists some flat totals, which can result in a push if the team finishes with the exact number of wins listed.

These nuances will help bettors find edges in one of the most popular MLB futures markets.

American League win total betting odds analysis

We've listed each team in the order they finished at the conclusion of last year's MLB season to provide you with a better understanding of both how the landscape changed and the degree of success these teams had last season.

The East was perhaps the most balanced division in the American League last year; the Central had more teams tightly grouped at the top but it also had the historically bad Chicago White Sox. That's reflected in the early projected win totals.

The Toronto Blue Jays own the lowest total at a still-respectable 78.5 after the additions of Anthony Santander and Max Scherzer.

Meanwhile, the New York Yankees have the third-highest total in baseball at 93.5 following the additions of Max Fried, Cody Bellinger, and Devin Williams.

In the Central, we have the logjam that was expected after how these teams finished last year. Four of the five teams in the Central are trading at a total of 82.5 or 83.5, with the Cleveland Guardians serving as "favorites" to have the best record among the bunch. Of course, FanDuel doesn't expect the White Sox to be as bad as they were last year, because how could they, right? Right?

The West is much more tight than you might expect, with the Texas Rangers trading only one win behind the Houston Astros. The Astros dealt away perennial MLB MVP odds contender Kyle Tucker and are likely to lose Alex Bregman, so it makes sense to see them trading at this total rather than one in the 90s, especially since they won only 88 games last year with those two. They did, however, add Christian Walker, one of the best first basemen in baseball.

National League win total betting odds analysis

Five teams in baseball have a projected win total of 90-plus, and three of them are in the NL East.

The Philadelphia Phillies won the second-most games in baseball last year, and they're expected to essentially run it back with what looks like an even better team with Jesus Luzardo joining the rotation and Jordan Romano serving as the new closer. Then you have the Atlanta Braves, who still managed to win 89 games last year despite being severely bitten by the injury bug. And, finally, Soto and the Mets.

New York still has some question marks, but it's likely it'll win two more games than it did last season after adding one of baseball's truly elite players.

The Central is the AL East of the National League, as we had a cluster of teams finish with very similar records behind the dominant Milwaukee Brewers. However, unlike the AL East this year, there's no standout team in the NL Central. That leaves the Chicago Cubs - with the addition of Tucker - as the favorites to win the most games, with the Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Pirates, and St. Louis Cardinals all trading at nearly identical totals.

Finally, we come to the West, which features the only team projected to win 100-plus games. Yes, it is entirely possible (and likely) that the Dodgers will be even better during the regular season this year. Their rotation is truly something to marvel at with the additions of Blake Snell and Roki Sasaki and the expected returns of Shohei Ohtani, Dustin May, and Tony Gonsolin.

How to bet MLB season Over/Under win totals

There’s nothing complicated about MLB team win totals markets. You’re betting on whether or not a team will win more (Over) or fewer (Under) games than a projected total.

To find these markets, go to your favorite sportsbook, head to the baseball or MLB section, and look for "futures." There, you'll find a variety of options, including win totals.

Our sites with the best sportsbook promos set the total based on each team’s roster, offseason transactions, past results, and the strength of their schedule.

MLB team win totals are futures bets. They can be placed up to each team's first game of the season and are graded at the conclusion of the regular season.

However, odds can be posted throughout the year across a number of our best sportsbooks. Those numbers often differ from the opening totals and associated odds, which can lead to potential value plays on teams that get out to a surprising start in either direction.
