Scheffler is a finalist for the PGA Tour Player of the Year after winning the award last year. The 28-year-old won six tournaments, the Tour Championship, and the Olympic gold medal in 2024. He won this tournament back-to-back before last year's T-3 finish at 18-under. He's the most likely of the big names to return to TPC Scottsdale in early February, and he'll certainly close as the favorite if he does.
Still, it's more likely these odds lengthen than shorten between now and then, so I'd postpone placing a bet until the season gets underway.
