Scheffler became the first person to win The Players Championship back-to-back in the tournament's 50-year history last year. The +350 odds are giving him a 22.22% chance of extending that streak to three years.
Though there's not a pile of value in these odds, it's notable that Scheffler's also a two-time winner of the Arnold Palmer Invitational, which will again be played the week before this event. A third win at Bay Hill would shorten this number.
Rory McIlroy

McIlroy won the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am. The Signature Event was his first PGA Tour event of the season.
We're still seeing relative value in his Players Championship odds, as he's third on the oddsboard behind Scheffler and Xander Schauffele. The odds match the OWGR, but McIlroy has won at TPC Sawgrass before, and I'd expect The Players Championship to be his final tune-up before the Masters.
I'd also expect McIlroy to play in the Arnold Palmer Invitational Signature Event the week before The Players. A win at Bay Hill would shorten these odds, so there's likely value at +900.
