TGL Odds & Favorites 2025: Los Angeles and The Bay Lead Race for SoFi Cup
The Bay Golf Club moved to 3-0 with a pair of victories on Presidents' Day and is now the clear favorite by the latest TGL odds to win the inaugural SoFi Cup.
The Bay - consisting of Ludvig Aberg, Wyndham Clark, Min Woo Lee, and Shane Lowry - leads Los Angeles GC, Atlanta Drive, and Jupiter Links by the TGL odds. Those four teams are in a playoff position, with Boston Common Golf and New York GC on the outside looking in.
There'll be a doubleheader at SoFi Center on Monday, with New York Golf Club (-115) playing Los Angeles Golf Club (-110) and Boston Common Golf (-120) playing Atlanta Drive GC (-105).

What is the TGL?
The TGL is a new tech-infused golf league beginning in January 2025. Six teams of four represent six cities in the U.S., and those squads play a two-hour weekly competition on prime time out of SoFi Center on the campus of Palm Beach State College. Matches will air on ESPN and ESPN+.
Three members of each team will compete every week in a two-hour match played over 15 custom-designed holes.
Format & scoring
Weekly matches will be played as triples (3-on-3 match play) of alternate shot (nine holes), as well as one-on-one singles matches (six holes). Both formats follow modern match play scoring, with each hole worth one point. The team with the most points at the end of the night wins the match.
A match win in regulation as well as a win in overtime is worth two points. An overtime loss is worth one point, while a regulation loss is worth nothing, similar to the NHL.
Postseason format
The top four teams following the regular season advance to the playoffs. Those teams will square off in the single-elimination semifinals - Team 1 vs. Team 4 and Team 2 vs. Team 3. The two winning teams advance to the championship series, which will be played as a best of three to crown a champion.
