Will President Trump and Taylor Swift Reconcile at Super Bowl 59?

The biggest day of the year is quickly approaching for best sports betting sites, but viewers will have eyes on more than the game.
The Super Bowl is already set to be a dazzling performance among sports fans with the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles rematch. Still, fans are eager to watch something else: the possible interaction between President Trump and Taylor Swift. The global sensation is set to be the source of Taylor Swift odds and prop bets.
Taylor Swift and President Donald Trump have a tenuous relationship at best. Swift publicly endorsed former Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate Tim Walz in their presidential campaign after the current Vice President JD Vance called her a ‘Childless Cat Lady.’
The pop icon took to Instagram, saying, “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election. I’m voting for @kamalaharris because she fights for the rights and causes I believe need a warrior to champion them.”
The post garnered worldwide attention, generating 11.4 million likes, and left Donald Trump a little angsty. He took to his own social media platform, Truth Social, to write his rebuttal, saying, “I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT!”
Yet, as if by a twist of fate, President Trump and Taylor Swift will be rooting for the same team this Sunday, which has fans wondering if the two will be able to put aside their differences and patch things up.
Travis Kelce to become the ‘Middleman’
After it was confirmed on Wednesday that President Trump was attending the 2025 Super Bowl LIX in New Orleans, the first sitting president to do so, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end welcomed the announcement with open arms.
“That’s awesome, it’s a great honor,” Travis Kelce said. “No matter who the president is, I know I’m excited because it’s the biggest game of my life. Having the president there, it’s the best country in the world and that’s pretty cool.”
However, his response has divided fans, as Swifties came together on the social media platform X to debate Kelce’s statement. One user tweeted, “Weird to say this about a man who openly bullied your girlfriend.” Another said, “He’s representing his team. He has to say that. That’s the diplomatic answer.”
Either way, Kelce wasn’t the only Chiefs player to address the President’s announcement. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes told reporters, “I didn’t see that clip but obviously it’s cool to hear that he’s seen me play football and respects the game that I play. It's always cool to be able to play in front of a sitting president. Someone that is at the top position in our country.”
Mahomes’ wife, Brittany Mahomes, is also an avid Trump supporter and one of Taylor’s best friends. The current president has mentioned her many times and took to his social media platform on Thursday to congratulate Mahomes and his wife on the birth of their new daughter, saying, “Congratulations to the Chiefs GREAT Quarterback, Patrick Mahomes, and his very beautiful and BRILLIANT wife, Brittany, on the birth of their new baby daughter, Golden Raye. This is what I call a baby with great genes, both mother and father. It’s happy times in the wonderful Mahomes family. See you all on Sunday!”
It seems that Swift’s inner circle is connected to Trump, so fans must wait till Sunday’s game to see if the world’s most prominent names cross paths.
