Ohio is home to many of our best sports betting sites. While it doesn't have a real-money online casino market, the brick-and-mortar industry showed some month-over-month improvement.

The Ohio Casino Control Commission has revealed that casino revenue for December reached over $89.1 million, a 5.74% increase from November when casinos brought in $84.3 million.

However, all the Ohio casinos have reported a decrease in revenues compared to last December, with state-wide revenue falling by 2.79%.

Of the four casinos, Jack Cleveland saw the most significant year-on-year drop in revenues, with revenues falling by 4.94%. Hollywood Toledo posted revenues 3.35% lower than in December 2024, while Hard Rock Cincinnati generated 2.22% less revenue in December 2025 than the previous year. Hollywood Columbus showed the greatest stability, with revenues falling less than 1% year over year.

The four casinos in Ohio reported a relatively even distribution of revenues, with Hollywood Toledo Casino reporting the lowest total revenue of $19.8 million and Hollywood Columbus Casino reporting the highest with $24.1 million. Jack Cleveland Casino and Hard Rock Cincinnati Casino have reported $23.3 million and $21.8 million respectively.

That even distribution helped Ohio casinos generate more revenue than other successful months for operators in 2024 like May
