IC360 and Sleeper Combine to Enhance Integrity in Fantasy Sports

Compliance technology firm IC360 has partnered with the fantasy sports operator Sleeper through a new deal to integrate its ProhiBet monitoring product. Together, they will significantly enhance the site's integrity and responsible gaming.

Sleeper will use ProhiBet's technology to receive real-time alerts. It will strictly follow a policy that bans a particular category of people, such as sportsmen and league officials, from participating in fantasy games related to their sport. The policy intends to maintain the honesty and integrity of fantasy games, ensuring a healthy experience for all.

ProhiBet's integration will protect the site's integrity by preventing barred individuals from contests whose participation can undermine fairness. This alliance reinforces their dedication to providing a fair and responsible gaming experience where all players can confidently play.

“Integrity and compliance are core to our platform, and we’re excited to partner with IC360 to integrate ProhiBet,” said Matt Hagerty, Sleeper’s Director of Legal Affairs. “This collaboration enhances our ability to prevent prohibited individuals from entering our paid-entry contests and reinforces our commitment to a fair and responsible play environment.”   

ProhiBet's technology, having gained a reputation for its advanced monitoring and real-time alert system, has become the preferred choice of the best sportsbook operators and daily fantasy sports operators. Its ability to identify and correct potential violations within time ensures the operators are in strict regulatory compliance and maintain the highest standards of integrity.

ProhiBet challenges the incumbents

IC360 Chief Operating Officer Scott Sadin referred to the deal with Sleeper as a benchmark for the company's efforts to bring ProhiBet into the broader sports and gaming world. He further mentioned that with the integration of ProhiBet, Sleeper is embracing an innovative strategy for ensuring high integrity and responsible gaming measures.

IC360 has been a major advocate for responsible gaming in recent years. In September 2024, the compliance firm published advice on how bettors could gamble responsibly during Problem Gambling Education Month. 

ProhiBet deployment is not exclusive to fantasy portals. Established sportsbooks like DraftKings and BetMGM are already leveraging the solution. Increased adoption of ProhiBet on fantasy sites shows increased recognition of the sheer importance of integrity and compliance in the fantasy sports space's new vertical.

With industry estimates placing nearly $11 billion to be wagered on U.S. fantasy sports and betting last year, the integrity of such sites is a pressing need. IC360's partnership with Sleeper is a move in the right direction and a solid step toward facilitating assurance of evidence of the integrity and fairness of fantasy sports contests and safeguarding operators' and players' interests.
