Hockey fans will have new markets to bet on at our best sports betting sites in just a couple of weeks when the puck drops on the inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off on Feb. 12.

Ahead of the action, Fanatics, the National Hockey League Players’ Association (NHLPA), and the National Hockey League (NHL) have unveiled the new jersey designs for the 4 Nations Face-Off.

The international hockey tournament, which takes place in Montreal and Boston from Feb. 12 to 20, features NHL players from Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States. The jerseys are designed with distinctive elements related to each nation’s cultural identity and national image.

According to Fanatics’ announcement, the jerseys are now available for purchase across the Fanatics.com network sites, at the NHL Flagship Store in New York City, with retailers in the participating nations and Germany and in the host cities of Montreal and Boston.

Canada’s jersey is traditional red and white, with a 13-point maple leaf highlighting its front crest and an arced wordmark inside the leaf. Debossed maple leaf wreaths can be found on the sleeves, symbolizing “weaving communities coast to coast to coast to coast.”

Finland’s jersey is “inspired by the country’s vast winter landscape and deep passion for the outdoors.” It is white and features a split-colored wordmark and a new interpretation of the national coat of arms—a crowned lion against the Finnish sky. Finland's national flower, Convallaria Majalis, is debossed on the sleeves and the interior neckline.

Sweden’s jersey is well-known in yellow and blue. It features a redesign of “Tre Kronor” (three crowns), a crest historically worn by Swedish hockey teams during international competitions. The jersey’s sleeves sport a subtle stripe design.

The United States jersey uses navy blue as its primary color, with red and white included on the sleeves and base. The front crest features a modern wordmark, while a white star patch decorates each shoulder. There are a total of thirteen stripes. Debossed on the sleeves are the words “E Pluribus Unum” (Out of Many, One).

Inaugural 4 Nations Face-Off

This is the first 4 Nations Face-Off in NHL history and was announced during last year's NHL All-Star Game. Four games will be played at Bell Centre in Montreal during the tournament, while three games will be played at TD Garden in Boston. The championship game is one of the three games played in Boston.

Each game is played according to the NHL rules. Each team plays three games in a round-robin system, playing each other an equal number of times according to the points system outlined in the NHL announcement: “3 points for a win in regulation time; 2 points for a win in overtime/shootout; 1 point for a loss in overtime/shootout; and 0 points for a loss in regulation time”.

The two teams with the best record advance to the Final. The NHL has details on the schedule, roster, and format.

Fanatics has gotten involved in plenty of new sports events over the past few years like the 4 Nations Face-Off Tournament, including launching its own. The company held the first Fanatics Fest last year and announced in December Fanatics Fest would return in 2025.
