DraftKings Oregon Offering Taylor Swift-Themed Super Bowl 59 Bets

A major announcement for one of our best sports betting sites ahead of the 2025 Super Bowl.

The Oregon Lottery has launched a series of Taylor Swift-themed sports props through its sports betting partner, DraftKings Sportsbook, for Super Bowl 59. The Kansas City Chiefs take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the Big Game, with Swift’s boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce, is a star for the Chiefs.

The prop bets are named after some of Swift’s most famous songs. One is called "Shake It Off," a wager on the Eagles to score first and the Chiefs to win.

Another bet is called “Déjà Vu,” an Olivia Rodrigo song for which Swift received writing credits after a legal dispute. The bet is that the Chiefs will win the game by exactly three points, just as the team did in Super Bowl LVII against the Eagles.  The "Wildest Dreams" bet requires Kelce to score both the first and last touchdown of the game.

These themed bets reflect a broader, increasing trend for creative, sometimes odd wagers. They are designed to attract casual bettors who might not usually be interested and fans of pop culture. Plenty of sportsbook promos will grant access to these props in several jurisdictions.

Since the Oregon sports betting launched in October 2019, more than $2.6 billion has been bet through the Oregon Lottery site. Kerry Hemphill, the organization's Sports Betting Products Manager, knows that outside cultural influences can spur interest in sports betting, which some have termed the “Taylor Effect.”

“The combination of celebrities, funny commercials, and of course, big plays at this event help generate the most interest in sports betting we see all year,” said Hemphill. “The Super Bowl also attracts more casual sports bettors who want to take advantage of the fun wagers offered,” said Hemphill.

Super Bowl 59 prop bets spotlight

Aside from the Taylor Swift-themed bets, the Big Game is synonymous with various Super Bowl prop bets. These enable users to wager on all non-traditional aspects of the game.

Examples of this year's prop bets include standard options, such as Super Bowl coin toss odds or Super Bowl Gatorade color prop odds. As in prior years, options exist for whether any player will break the record for most passing in a Super Bowl and which team will lead at halftime.

Another popular prop bet focuses on Super Bowl MVP odds. Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes leads the bet, with Eagles running back Saquon Barkley not far behind.
