BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online Launch Dual Play Baccarat

New Jersey online casinos owned by MGM Resorts International have a new live dealer game to offer customers.

BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online have launched Dual Play Baccarat, a live dealer game broadcast directly from Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. Multiple cameras surround a baccarat table on the casino floor of Borgata, where real players can play, allowing both online and land-based players to enjoy the same game.

The game is the first in the US to allow online and real players to enjoy baccarat through the same title.

BetMGM partnership with Evolution Gaming

The new Dual Play Baccarat game comes through a partnership with Evolution Gaming. BetMGM first signed an agreement with the game provider in August 2020 to bring its live casino games to the US. This isn’t even the first casino game BetMGM and Evolution have launched that combines players from the casino floor of Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa and BetMGM Casino. In August 2023, BetMGM Casino and Borgata Online Casino launched Dual Play Roulette, another game broadcast from the Borgata in Atlantic City that lets land-based and online players enjoy casino games together. Land-based casinos contribution amid online records

While Atlantic City has long been a land-based casino haven in the US, online casinos are growing increasingly in New Jersey. In December 2024 and January 2025, online casino revenues exceeded land-based casino revenues for the first time in the Garden State. 

December 2024 and January 2025 saw record highs for online casino revenue after the state already set new records in November 2024.

However, launching a new hybrid land-based/online casino game at Borgata Casino Hotel & Spa shows that Atlantic City casinos still have an important place.
